I'm Hazel. I'm the one who draws the finds.
Wonder Finds is a place. I didn't make it up all in one go. It started as one bird with too many legs and then it needed somewhere to live so I drew that too. Now there are rivers there and a town where nobody uses doors.
When I go there I bring one thing back. Usually it's a creature. Sometimes it's just a colour I saw and I have to pour it out before I forget exactly which one it was.
The pours are different to the drawings. With a pour I don't decide much. I tip it and the paint decides and I watch. Sometimes it makes something I already know from there, which is weird, but it happens a lot.
I don't draw people. There aren't really people there.
Everything on here is the actual one I made. When one is gone it's gone, but I leave it up so the world stays whole.
Who runs the shop
My dad runs this site. His name is Mahendra Singh and he built the whole thing. He packs and posts everything himself and he deals with the money side of it. Any question about buying something, or a commission, or where your parcel has got to, goes to him. Use the contact form and he'll get back to you, usually in a day or two.
